We have only just begun, to speculate, on possible ways, to make some gold off this.  Maybe.

Get Chris's two addons: MageManaBar for you Arcane Mages too baffled by pressing your button, and BadBoy to put an end to anal spam on your server.

Transmogrification is coming to patch 4.3!  What does it mean for you and your characters.  This is a topic that we will continue to explore in the coming weeks, to see if there is some way to make money of what is essentially a feature that combines PvE and RP.

Void Storage is also on the way.  YAWN.  Void Storage is a fancy word for 'More Bank Space', and not much else.

Go to ASKMRROBOT, you fools!  Seriously, do now.  The over/under on things you have fucked up is FIVE.  I'm taking the over.

The hosts discuss Opportunity Cost.  Go read this Wiki, learn it, live it.

Thanks for tuning in (even the Rogues)!  If you have any comments, you can reach us on the Facebook page, our comments page, or follow us on Twitter @warcraftlounge.

Regards,

Ryan [Lohrdook/Stilleiro - Hydraxis(H), Dynam - Gilneas(A)] & Chris [Drakkmur - Hydraxis(H)]

Thanks for the heads up on Mr. Robot, it’s an iphone app too. I know you guys hate rogues, but there has been a good rogue tool like that on the EJ forums for a while now called Shadowcraft. This is what we used. We scanned it with Robot and everything was perfect, 28890 score. Kinda weird rogue scores are lower than the other classes. Our priest has 100k score.

I wouldn’t say either of us hate rogues (except when we play against them in pvp). It is just a blind spot for us to talk about because neither of us have a high level one atm (I am leveling an alliance rogue as we speak).

    Hey just a few remarks,

1 mrrobot, tells me 7 wrong for my character, basically i’m to reforge all haste to mastery. But that assumes i have access to a spellhaste totem while playing, and i don’t. I don’t focus on raiding that much, So i’m well over hastecap counting that buff but without it i’m 0.06 % over the required 12.5% Its completely true that with a paladin around and a shaman around i could lose tons of haste and put them into mastery, but i’d like to be selfsufficient for something as important as my softcap for haste. ( losing the 12.5 % means 1 tick less of renew ) thats fine in chakra serenity, but in aoe chakra they won’t get refreshed. And one of the things i do on massive aoe is frontload the renews ( eyes on occu’thar ) Having the extra tick makes a lot of difference in throughput there.

TLDR ( especially Hot & dot classes might show a terrible reforge strategy but are actually doing it right if they’re aiming to keep softcaps in place. If you’re not in a fixed raid roster you can’t count on all buffs being present and need to make sure you hit them on your own. )

About gph, you’re listing really high numbers there, i’m pulling in around 55 - 60k profits a week, but in gph its quite low. Are you counting all the time prospecting in there aswell? For me GPH is calculated for every moment i’m in game when i’m not doing something related to trade’s EG pretty much questing, leveling alts, or dungeoning. If i’m sitting in sw city chatting to my guild i’m automatically checking my auctions, so i’ll add them to my calculations.

Undercuts, i usually run with far more then 1c mine is based on comparative undercuts needed ( increases the amount i undercut by ) successfull auctions ( reduces the amount i undercut by ) and a fixed percentage, ( between 3 - 20 % depending on the market )

Undercutting by larger amounts has a secondary effect on sales. It discourages competition. Right now í’ll take out easily 5 - 7k profits out of the gem market but there is no one else actively posting them anymore. I use my cost for gems to calculate my price, just because you’ve listed something at 200g doesn’t mean its worth that much. Heck our JC market is one of the lowest priced around especially considering its the 5th smallest ah of all european alliance auctionhouses. But customers are still spending easily 2 hours in trade ( only 100 players online at best ) to get a cheaper cut. To give some listings, inferno’s usually 100g per cut, meta’s 160g cut, greens 150g / cut ( no one has them ) purples 80g, orange 80, yellow 60, blue 50.

nice, using glyph and gems aswell :P

63g average price, undercutting by 20 % a glyph, but i’m still makeing 40g / glyph profit on around 80 sales a day. ( with no lost sales at all.
